How Age Calculation Works
The calculator subtracts your date of birth from today's date. It first calculates the difference in years, then adjusts for months and days. If the current day is less than the birth day, it borrows days from the previous month. Leap years (years divisible by 4, except centuries not divisible by 400) are automatically handled, so February 29 birthdays are calculated correctly.
